FORD-LASA funding was granted to this valuable proposal because of the relevance of the labor issue, particularly in the current situation of the region. Also, because it allows approaches from different disciplines of the Social Sciences and because of the possibilities it offers to give greater visibility and growth to research in a line of work full of discrimination and inequalities.
