The Latin American Studies Association invites you to submit digital photographs of Latin American landscapes, architecture, nature, or wildlife, as well as aerial and lifestyle photographs, to be displayed on the LASA home page for one month.
This initiative intends to promote, stimulate and publicly acknowledge the work of professional and amateur LASA member photographers.
Requirements
- The photographer must be a current LASA member and must own the rights to the image.
- Photos must be landscape orientation, at least 1920 pixels (width) and 720 pixels (height).
Photographs must be sent in digital format to lasa@lasaweb.org
When submitting a picture, please provide the following information:
- Name of the photographer
- Title of the photograph
- Date and place where the photograph was taken
- One sentence describing the photograph
By submitting a photograph, you provide the Latin American Studies Association the authorization to display said image on the home page of the LASA website in its four languages. This authorization includes permission to modify the image to fit the graphic design of the LASA website.
LASA reserves the right to select the photographs to be published on its website.
